1 c. butter, softened (or margarine) 1 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. white sugar 2 large eggs 2 tsp. vanilla extract 2 c. all-purpose flour 3/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder 3/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2 - 3 c. Reese's peanut butter chips
Preheat the oven to 350℉.
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugars.
1 c. butter, softened (or margarine), 1 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. white sugar
Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well.
2 large eggs, 2 tsp. vanilla extract
In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients. Add them to the wet mixture and mix to combine.
2 c. all-purpose flour, 3/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder, 3/4 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt
Stir in the peanut butter chips.
2 - 3 c. Reese's peanut butter chips
Drop with a cookie scoop or spoon onto greased baking sheets and flatten a bit.
Bake for 8 - 10 minutes.
Let the cookies rest on the tray for a minute before removing them to a wire rack to cool. Store in an airtight container.
These cookies freeze well.
A 10 oz. package of Reese's peanut butter chips doesn't quite fill 2 cups.
