Amish Homemade Lemonade Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 (12 oz.) cans frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 3 pkg. lemonade Kool-Aid
  • 3 1/2 - 4 c. sugar
  • water and ice to make 3 gallons
  • 3 lemons, cut in slices

Instructions
 

  • In a large container, mix lemonade concentrate, Kool-Aid, sugar, and enough water and ice to make approx. three gallons. Stir till sugar is dissolved.
    2 (12 oz.) cans frozen lemonade concentrate, 3 pkg. lemonade Kool-Aid, 3 1/2 - 4 c. sugar, water and ice to make 3 gallons
  • Add lemon slices. Chill and serve.
    3 lemons, cut in slices
  • Keep refrigerated.

Notes

With the added lemon slices, this lemonade tastes better on the second day. So feel free to mix it a day in advance if you have refrigerator space to store it. And feel free to add even more lemon slices if desired.
This recipe makes enough to serve a crowd, but it can easily be broken down to make only one gallon of lemonade as well ( 8 oz. frozen concentrate, 1 pkg. Kool-Aid, 1 lemon, and approx. 1 1/4 c. sugar).
A three-gallon drink dispenser is ideal to mix and serve this lemonade when preparing it for a crowd.
