Spiced Apple Cider From Apple Juice Recipe
Easily turn regular apple juice into spiced apple cider by adding a few simple spices. Simmer the apple juice and spices for several hours in the crockpot or for 20 minutes on the stovetop. Perfect warm holiday drink!

- 8 cups apple juice
- 3-4 whole cinnamon sticks
- 1 teaspoon whole allspice
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 orange, cut into slices
Pour everything into a crockpot and put orange slices on top.

Cover and cook on low for 2 - 4 hours. The longer it simmers, the stronger the flavors will be.
If desired, you can make this apple cider in a large pot on the stovetop. Bring it to a boil over medium heat. Cover and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
Strain the spices before serving.
Cool and refrigerate any leftovers.
