Add a can of crushed pineapples along with the juice.
1 can crushed pineapple with juice (20 oz.)
Add sliced bananas, strawberries, and blueberries.
3 - 4 bananas, sliced, 3 - 4 c. strawberries, sliced, 2. c blueberries, fresh or frozen
Freeze until solid.
Remove from the freezer several hours before serving so that it's partially thawed for a slushie.
Fruit slush is also delicious with some added Sprite or Seven-up. Substitute some soda for some of the water and omit the sugar.
This recipe is very versatile, you can change up the fruit, using peaches, cherries, grapes, etc. Add fresh or frozen fruit, as much or as little as you like.
If you prefer, you can freeze the slush with only the bananas and pineapple. Then add fresh fruit just before serving.
You will notice in my photo that the color of my slushie is pretty dark. I actually added frozen blueberries because I did not have any fresh ones on hand. It made the color darker, but it does not affect the taste.
