Easy Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge (Amish Fudge Recipe)

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 pound butter (2 sticks)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter.

  • In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and peanut butter until smooth.

  • Add the cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt. Mix.
    1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Stir in the powdered sugar until well mixed and creamy.
    3 cups powdered sugar
  • Spread the chocolate mixture into an 8 or 9" square greased or parchment-lined pan.
  • Cover and refrigerate until firm.
  • Cut into little squares and store in an airtight container. Keep refrigerated or at least in a cool, dry place.

Notes

You can use creamy or crunchy peanut butter, whichever you prefer.
