Easy Cherry Pie Recipe With Graham Cracker Crust and Canned Pie Filling
This easy Amish pie recipe features a homemade graham cracker crust, smooth and creamy cheesecake filling, and canned cherry pie filling. A simple, luscious, no-bake pie that's perfect for any occasion!
1 1/2cupsgraham cracker crumbs(9 whole graham crackers - 1 pkg.)
2tablespoonsbrown sugar
1/2cupmelted butter(1 stick)
Cream Cheese Filling:
2(8 ounce) pkg.cream cheese (softened)
2/3cuppowdered confectioners sugar
1tablespoonlemon juice
pinch of salt
1/2cupheavy whipping cream
Topping:
1(21 ounce) cancherry pie filling
Instructions
Crust:
Crush graham crackers in a bag with a rolling pin or put them through a food processor until fine.

In a small bowl, mix the graham crumbs and brown sugar.

Melt the butter and mix it into the crumbs.

Press the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
Refrigerate the crust while preparing the filling.
Cream Cheese Filling:
Beat softened cream cheese until smooth.

Add the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and salt. Scrape the sides of the bowl and mix until smooth and creamy.

Add the heavy whipping cream and beat on high speed until thickened.

Evenly spread the cream cheese filling into the cooled pie crust.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Spread the cherry pie filling over the top. Chill and serve.

Notes
Heavy whipping cream can be replaced with 1 cup of thawed Cool Whip.This pie is not very sweet, if you prefer it sweeter add up to a cup of powdered sugar to the cream cheese filling.If desired, you can bake the graham crust for approximately 10-15 minutes.
