Marshmallow Top Hats (Amish Hats Recipe)

Made with only three ingredients, Amish hats are one of the easiest snacks ever. Marshmallow top hats are a fun snack for kids.

Ingredients
  

  • Ritz crackers
  • Peanut Butter
  • Regular marshmallows

Instructions
 

  • For this recipe, you can make as many or as few as you want, so we are not giving any measurements.
  • Spread a thin layer of peanut butter (approx. 1 tsp.) onto each Ritz cracker, and place them onto a cookie sheet.

  • Top each cracker with a regular-sized marshmallow.

  • Preheat the broiler on the low setting - approx. 450°. (It only takes about a minute to preheat.)
  • Place the tray of top hats about five inches from the broiler element (I put my top shelf into the second from the top position).
  • Keep your eye on the marshmallows. It only takes approximately 2 minutes. And they can quickly go from nicely browned to burnt.
  • Remove from the oven and serve.
