    Simple Side Dish and Condiments

Potato chips, or tortilla chips paired with salsa, are always simple additions to your spread. Their crunchy texture fits so well with sandwiches. And chips are always a hit, especially with the kiddos.

An assortment of fresh, raw veggies and dip is another easy and healthy option.

While you're busy planning your dinner, don't forget the toppings to go with your favorite burgers. My toppings of choice are cheese, red onion slices, pickles, lettuce, and tomato. Jalapenos and avocado slices are also great choices.

Of course, you need the condiments too: ketchup, mustard, barbecue sauce, and burger sauce. (My husband also enjoys a tiny bit of horseradish with his burger.) Do you have a favorite burger sauce? I used to buy one at our local supermarket, but then they quit carrying it, and I haven't gotten any since.

Sides for Burgers and Hot Dogs

I had fun putting together this list of what I believe are great side options to accompany hamburgers as well as hot dogs. Potato salad or fries are always great options, but sometimes it is nice to switch things up and try a few different sides for burgers other than fries.

Your sides for burgers in winter will probably look different than summer barbecue sides. I included a variety of sides in this post to give you options for summer or winter sides. I included some classic choices, as well as a few healthier alternatives.

(Homemade mint meadow tea or lemonade are always great beverage choices to serve with your summer barbecue.)

I hope you get to try at least one or two of these easy burger sides. I'd love to hear from you in the comments below. What are your favorite sides with burgers?
